The Dutch school system is composed of four profiles: Economics and culture are arranged around society, health and technology are organised around nature.

We took this split as a base and as an inspiration for our design. We built two times two blocks, two blocks with one intersection. Society and nature constitute these intersections while the other subjects are displayed in the remaining parts. A massive waling connects the different pieces and demonstrates the interrelation of all disciplines. It includes all classrooms and is midpoint of the school. Sizes and dimensions of the buildings are according to the needs.

Commercial, cultural, social and sportive accommodations – such as shops, a library, a theatre and a sports hall, (...) - provide an overvalue for the whole island.
